Cycling Facilities

Nelson Airport has two Bike Zones with ample space for storing and reassembling bikes. A large one is situated directly to the left as you exit the terminal. A smaller Bike Zone is situated across the road from the Arrivals Door at the main terminal.

Cycling Transport

Nelson Airport is well situated between Nelson City and Richmond with well established routes both off-street and on-street.

Nelson City is a 25 minute cycle via the Tahunanui Beach or the Railway Reserve while Richmond is also a 25 minute ride via the Coastal Route and Saxton Field.
