Enter the Fly a Fan competition!

We love our team, the Nelson Giants, and we know you do too - so we want to fly two Giants fans to an away game with the team!

Tell us who your favourite Giant is (past or present) and why to go in the draw to win a trip for two to the Panthers game in Auckland on Saturday 21 June 2025. You’ll meet the team and be close to the action during the game. The winners will fly to Auckland on Saturday morning and return to Nelson on Sunday 22 June. Accommodation and transfers are provided.

Entries close Thursday 22 May 2025.

  • Return Air New Zealand domestic flights for two departing from Nelson to Auckland on Saturday 21 June and returning to Nelson on Sunday 22 June 2025.

    One nights’ accommodation for two people in central Auckland.

    Seats near the Giants reserves bench during the match, where the Nelson Giants take on the Indian Panthers at the Pulman Arena, Takanini.

    Complimentary airport transfers to and from the accommodation.

    Complimentary transfers from the accommodation to Pulman Arena and back on Saturday 21 June 2025.

    Complimentary parking at Nelson Airport from Saturday 21 June to Sunday 22 June.

    Attend a pre-game training session to meet the team.

    You must be available to fly on the specified dates to accept the prize.

  • The competition is open to New Zealand residents over the age of 18. If you are entering a child you can do so on their behalf as long as the adult entering is the person accompanying the child on the trip if successful.

    The competition runs until 11.59pm on Thursday 22 May.

    The winner will be contacted by 5pm Friday 23 May. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone. The prize must be claimed by 5pm Tuesday 27 May or Nelson Airport will conduct a re-draw for the unclaimed prize.

    The prize draw is entered by completing the entry form. One entry is permitted per entry form. One entry is permitted per person.

    The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included, including (where applicable) transport, spending money, insurance, meals and all other incidentals.

    The prize elements are non-transferrable and cannot be converted into cash. The overall prize is transferrable to another individual at the discretion of Nelson Airport.

    Nelson Airport, Nelson Giants, and any other person or party associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

    Nelson Airport collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.

    Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for Nelson Airport and Nelson Giants to use the winner’s details and any photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference if required.

    All employees working at Nelson Airport, Nelson Giants and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
