New terminal taking shape

A significant milestone in the creation of New Zealand's best regional airport. Very early in the morning of February 15, 2018, the very first of the roof triangles was lifted into place. Each triangle weighing 6.5 tonnes, is made from LVL (laminated veneer lumber) which is produced in the Nelson region. The Naylor Love team heading the project, working with Nelson company Gibbons, made sure every aspect of the lift went smoothly. We are looking forward to seeing more triangles go up each week, until completion of Stage A of the redevelopment. Thanks SnapIT for the footage and Storyline Pictures for the image.
