The storm surge on February 1st, 2018 has sadly resulted in our much loved Airport Perimeter Walkway being closed until further notice. This image clearly shows the impact of the storm surge has had in eroding the entire walkway in some places and undermining it in other areas.The entire walkway must remain closed to the public while we continue to assess the damage. It will remain closed for the safety of the public and until a plan for remediation is considered by NAL and NCC.
